Mission
The Dress Closet is a program that provides current Mike Ilitch School of Business students with the opportunity to borrow professional attire for job interviews, professional networking events, and other career-related opportunities. The program exists to offset the costs and inconveniences associated with the search for career options by providing students with an alternative to purchasing professional attire. A dry cleaning fee is the only cost associated with the program.
The Dress Closet
Managed by the Mike Ilitch School of Business -Wayne State University Administration’s Career Planning and Placement office with generous support from the students of Delta Sigma Pi, the Dress Closet serves as an attire borrowing program for current Mike Ilitch School of Business undergraduate and graduate students. A variety of suits, dress shirts, and other professional attire is available to rent through the program. The Dress Closet attire has been made available to students through generous donations from alumni, faculty, staff, friends, current students and parents in the Wayne State community.
Donations
This great program is an opportunity for students to feel confident and strong when going into any professional setting. This program will continue to thrive with the help we receive from donations. You can donate new or gently used business suites, pants, blazers, shirts, belts, ties (for men), jewelry (for women) and shoes.
